Before students start the process of looking for work, they are encouraged to spend time researching occupations and organizations of interest. One of the most valuable sources of information for students is to talk directly with individuals who are willing to share their insights on the workplace and career areas.

At the Career Centre, we partner with individuals such as yourself who are willing to hold informational interviews with students. These interviews can be done in person or by telephone. You have the option to indicate your availability as well as the number of informational interviews that you are willing to conduct with a student.

How you can help...

• Fill out the profile form below and indicate: your current position, job title, education and career history.
• We edit your profile and submit it to you for your final approval
• Once approved, we publish your information in our Career Centre Library
• Your contact information is strictly controlled by the Career Centre and will be shared exclusively with U of T students who request to speak to you for an informational interview
• Students will then call you directly to arrange for the informational interview
